Frank Horvat was just one of the world’s best style photographers. He aided elevate the medium into high artwork, and with his thoughtful photos, improved how we appear at style completely.
Now, his hottest masterpieces are on see in a solo exhibition at the Leica Galerie Wetzlar, opening on February 3, and running right until April 30 in Wetzlar, Germany. The exhibition is known as Be sure to Do not Smile, one thing he would convey to his topics prior to snapping their portraits.

And certainly, he did have a Leica camera, and was released to the brand name by his pal and fellow photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson (who now has his own namesake museum in Paris).
Horvat was born in Croatia, lived in Italy, and moved to Paris in 1955. He commenced functioning as a vogue photographer in 1957, undertaking image shoots for vogue publications in Paris, London and New York, until finally 1962.
